Aventure Works’ Business Strategy Podcast Series
Aventure Works helps independent businesses with strategy: from plans to execution. I believe that independent, for-profit business is humankind’s best chance at delivering each soul from a life that is, as Thomas Hobbes put it, “solitary, poor, nasty, brutish, and short.”
I enjoy reading and writing about strategy as well as experimenting with ideas to determine what strategies and tactics – what plans and actions, what means, work best to achieve their stated goals, objectives or ends.
In this series of podcasts, I will be speaking with fellow entrepreneurs about business strategy theory and practice, as well as about their particular business and experience. I hope to touch upon topics such as meaning and purpose in business and life, as business is merely one commercial aspect of a larger, more encompassing human life. In each talk, I hope to get into specifics of my podcast companion’s life and business, thoughts and lessons learned.
I hope that this will of be interesting primarily to fellow entrepreneurs and independent business owners that may be dealing with fundamental questions about their business, the role of their business in their larger life and the meaning of their life in the grand scheme of things, however they might understand that context.
